Malacca Zoo, Malacca, Malaysia (and a bit on the 1st week in Auckland)

Okay, so these are not recent at all. I took this about 3 weeks ago, and I've just transferred them from the camera into my laptop today.

Why did it take so long?
Because I just got back to Auckland last week. Jumped off the flight, took a 10 hour jet-lag nap and straight off to uni the next day!

How's Auckland?
Pretty usual, except for the little changes here and there. The bus fare increased again (only by 10cents though), there're a lot of people wearing red t-shirts holding buckets for the quake donation, and there's a couple of new shops on Queen St and Symonds St (also some old ones that have been renovated or have changed to new spots), but all in all, nothing much~

How's uni?
Crowded! A lot of eager-1st year faces walking around, lining up to sign up for the clubs and holding UBS plastic bags everywhere. But I think the word 'a lot' is a bit of an understatement...THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF THEM WALKING AROUND UNI! THOUSANDS!!!!

How's the apartment?
Clean. I was suprised and I actually thought I got in the wrong apartment. It was like....whiter than before.
After a while, I realised that yes, it is whiter and cleaner than before because my flatmate, Bella cleaned it in time for the inspection. And there were so many things in the house that were not there when I left. And they came from Fa's and Fikri's places actually. So I guess, less things to buy for us then~

And how do I feel at the moment?
Pretty vacant. I don't feel hungry, I don't feel cheerful, I don't exactly feel homesick, nor lonely if that matters. Just pretty vacant. I eat, watch TV and roll around like I usually do but I don't feel like there's any particular emotion involved in these (so-called) regular activities...oh well.
But I'm enjoying ONE course that I'm taking this semester! It's Japanese 150. A look into the cultural and historical context of Japan. Very interesting! ^w^
